Psych why new young shawn

Yes, the previous Shawn — played by Liam James — is no more, simply because Liam is growing up and has a tougher time pulling off Shawn. As for this episode, all I have to say really is that one of the things I like most about Psych is their ever-growing list of guest stars. I always love seeing Chi McBride , and he played his role so well in this episode. I would have to agree — this episode had at least two pineapples. Age Shawn in the opening flashbacks or just stop the flashbacks altogether.

The difference in the young actors, physically and acting style is just too distracting. I love the flashbacks! Young Shawn needs to get older anyway. Man, seriously. I love this show. If they realllly needed to get rid of Liam, they could have done a way better job of getting a better Shawn. That kid looks kind of like a harlequin baby. Plus the casting is so good on the show…so, what happened?

Ooops, sorry for posting that so many times. I guess it just reiterates my anger and sadness… or makes me look like an internet nube…. You could give us a spoiler alert before ruining the twist, I was watching it online and noticed the new little shawn so I came to this website and had the twist revealed to me…. What is the problem with Liam playing a teen? He is actually fourteen years old. Why would they change young Shawn and not young Gus?

Having attempted to do this occasionally as a 'good samaritan' for the police results in them pegging him for a crime, thinking that only someone with inside knowledge could do it. His only way out--pretend he is psychic. The buy it, hook line and sinker, and put him on another case, which leads to a whole new career.

The pilot introduces the main cast of characters although one of the group is replaced, with decent plot explanation, by the second episode. James Roday is over the top as Shawn, and while his antics can get a bit tiresome, he brings a nice life to the show. Dule Hill plays his best friend and reluctant partner Gus, who gets the lion's share of the good lines, and plays the put-upon but loyal companion to a T. Timothy Omundson brings all the gravitas you'd expect from a hard boiled police detective, unaware that he is the comic relief in the world of Shawn, and is perfect.
