We were on a plane on tour with all of these studio musicians who were just so even keeled, and the only way they could stay in the business at that level is to be level headed, and just let things go. I almost died one time, I had a very large equestrian center with a show barn and there were over 90 stalls.

I had bronchitis and pneumonia, and I ended up with a kidney infection, I was minutes from death. So that was one thing that I did. Then I lived in Texas, I went there for four days on vacation and stayed for like five years. Austin is awesome. I know, I went there a couple times last year. Yeah, I went to a lot of shows when I was in Austin. It was really nice; I enjoyed living there for the most part.

At the time I was like good, maybe I can kill off all these horrible memories, because I have night terrors, panic disorder, you name it. I count myself lucky to be alive. I was self-medicating, or as I said in Texas, trying to kill my brain.

Lots of people smoke socially, if I could buy a pack of cigarettes, it could last three months. It breaks my heart to write about it. July 9th, Smashing Pumpkins announce their intention to embark on a 20th-anniversary tour. March 23rd, Jimmy Chamberlin leaves Smashing Pumpkins.

April 21st, The supergroup Tinted Windows, which features James Iha, issues its self-titled first album. James, very creative when he wanted to be.

But that band was not built to last. Believe me, if that band had anything left in it, not only would I do it, because it would be creatively interesting, but it would be incredibly financially lucrative. She was held on four counts of failure to appear in court. June 21st, Skysaw, a band that features Jimmy Chamberlin, issues its debut album, Great Civilizations.
